Asia-Pacific markets mostly fell Thursday, breaking ranks with Wall Street as investors assessed U.S.-China trade developments.In Japan, the Nikkei 225 tumbled 372.62 points, or 1%, to 37,755.51.In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng skidded 187.49 points, or 0.8%, to 23,453.16.In other markets In China, the CSI 300 lost 36.01 points, or 0.9%, to 3,907.20. In Korea, the Kospi index shed 19.21 points, or 0.7%, to 2,621.36In Taiwan, the Taiex Index stuttered 52.62 points, or 0.2%, to 21,730.25In Singapore, the Straits Times index recovered 20.89 points, or 0.5%, to 3,891.94In New Zealand, the NZX 50 rocketed 101.56 points, or 0.8%, to 12,880.82.In Australia, the ASX 200 gained 17.89 points, or 0.2%, to 8,287.48
